Biography

Ibrahim has been practicing law for over 10 years. Since he moved to Dubai in 2006, he has acquired considerable experience in UAE and GCC laws and regulations, including construction and real estate laws, corporate and commercial laws, arbitration laws and family laws. Ibrahim has a Postgraduate degree in Intellectual property law (in Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR), from Mumbai University, Bachelor Degree in corporate Law (from Government Law College from Mumbai), Bachelor Degree in Commerce at (St Xavier’s College, Mumbai) In India. He is a Member of the Bar Association of Maharashtra & Goa since May 2004. His main practice areas are drafting contracts, Intellectual property rights, commercial and corporate law, real estate and construction laws, banking law, franchise and commercial agency laws. His experience spans both contentious and non-contentious issues (Alternative and Amicable Dispute resolutions:  Arbitration, mediation and conciliation). Ibrahim is also actively involved in estate planning; in addition he is an expert in corporate structuring and setting up of off- shore limited liability companies as there is a growing demand for this service among the expatriate community in the UAE.

He is a registered and licensed wills draftsman accredited by the DIFC.
